Does avoiding salt or taking very less of it help in weight loss?

No, it will help in bloat/water gain maybe but it will not help you lose fat - only eating in a deficit (your calorie goal) will help you lose fat.0

Depends? You need salt if you are sweating and working out. If you have too much salt you can retain water. It is all about the balance.0

Salt is neither here nor there for fat loss. If you think you are bloated from water weight you can reduce it by drinking more water (diluting the salt).0
