Nope. Housework should be included as part of your daily activity and already is accounted for in your MFP calorie goal.

I do for mowing the lawn because that's much more sporadic and harder since the mower is heavy and all that. But it doesn't usually add much. I don't add housework though, that's daily activity.

I don't. Maybe I would if I was usually bed ridden and got zero exercise. However, house work is a normal part of my day, therefore not deliberate exercise, therefore not logged as such.

No . here's why I don't - every human cleans their home, walks to the mailbox and stuff like that . its already built into your daily activity. If I was to log that stuff, I would be double dipping.

When I first started here, I saw a bunch of people doing it so thought that I should also. Well guess what, I didn't lose weight ! Lol !

If you don't normally garden on a regular basis, I would log that as exercise. But with house work, I agree with everyone else.

no, i do not. i don't even log walking the dog or even basic 30min cardio workouts that don't make my heartrate go up much.
if i happen to be spring/fall cleaning the house though, i may eat over my calories some that day if extra hungry!

I do log house cleaning if I'm going at it hardcore for a while. I try to give myself a set number of hours to accomplish whatever it is and try to turn it more into a work out though. I may be weird like, though. I always log my gardening bc it's a really large plot and it's always a strenuous activity that takes a man hour or more each time. I think it's a personal choice whether to log or not. You know the activity level and what all it involves. Use your best judgement.

No, certain things are just part of life that are assumed in my TDEE, like getting up and walking around, making a sandwich, throwing in a load of laundry, even walking the dog. If I'm not pushing myself physically, then its not exercise worth logging. I don't even log my steps because I don't want MFP over-estimating my burn for the day.

I log my food, I log my actual exercise. That's it. Everything else is just... life.

Here and there. Not for routine stuff, but for effort above normal - say when company is coming and we go into cleaning blitz mode. And then I cut the time in half. Or like @Ninkyou when I mow the lawn.

No. I did housework when I was fat.
