White chocolate isn't chocolate, so I've never been a fan. :)

I did, however, look in several stores yesterday for the Cadbury Dark Chocolate Mini Eggs, because I'd be all over that like flies on manure.

Sadly, I don't think they're available in Canada, as no one had them and looked at me like I was Janet From Another Planet when I asked. :(

I'm not really excited about any of these things. The candy I like is available year round.
If there was a holiday where you got a basket of cheese then I'd be more excited.

I feel somewhat the same way. Holloween is awesome because my kids typically get the candy I like so I take the dad tax to get my fill. I do like the robin eggs, but those are just candy shell coated whoppers and whoppers are better anyways.

You'll have to wait until January, I'm afraid...

I bought some white chocolate Dove eggs.
They are quite good. I swapped out my Dove Dark Chocolate promise with caramel and sea salt last night for one of the Dove white chocolate eggs. I don't regret that decision at all (except that I liked them too much, and there is a whole candy dish full of them calling my name). Dark chocolate Dove Promises with caramel and sea salt are my very favorite end of the day treat. I have tried every variety of dark chocolate since being on MFP, I always go back to the Promises. I am not a chocolate snob. I have tried the best chocolate, but always go back to Dove. It is a good thing they quit making the Dove truffle eggs for Easter, they were sinfully good, and truly my downfall.

I'm not a big candy eater (I hate jelly beans, Cadbury eggs, peeps, malted milk eggs), but I like peanut butter eggs (homemade or Reece's).

Cadbury cream eggs and Cadbury mini eggs are my downfall and the reason why Easter is my favorite candy holiday.

I dearly love white chocolate and bought these last year, but found them to be disappointing. I prefer the regular milk chocolate mini eggs.

My husband is so sweet. Last year he jokingly asked me if I wanted an Easter basket, and for a moment my eyes lit up like a 5 year old. I quickly became embarrassed and told him no because I am adult darn it! He got me one with all my favorite candies and a few other choices anyway. Last week I had a horrible week taking care of the injured dog while my husband was out of town. Friday after work (he got back that morning) I came home to an Easter basket again filled with all my favorites <3 I now know that Hershey's makes cookies and cream eggs which are delicious! I have happily been eating my way through it all this week while continuing to lose weight. Now I just need to decide if I will buy more (and how much) after it runs out this weekend since Easter only comes once a year ;)

Lindt has a milk chocolate egg that's pretty nice. I like it a lot more than a non chocolate Cadbury creme egg

All about the peeps, after they have been properly hardened for about 1-2 days. Oh and the Reese's eggs.....love me some Reese's eggs.

Special mention for Cadbury Caramel Eggs, those are tasty too!

I can't do the creme eggs but the caramel and the chocolate creme eggs I am all over. Also reese's eggs. I also find the only appropriate time to eat reese's pieces are at Easter in those carrot looking packages. Any other time of year is no bueno.

I used to love Cadbury Cream Eggs - used to be a tradition that I'd get a couple at Easter and each one would take several minutes of digging out the insides bit by bit before eating the chocolate shell.

But something happened while I was in college, and suddenly I found them just completely inedible. Overpoweringly sweet, which is ironic because my replacement Easter candy is Peeps. At least I know what I like about them - it's the crunch of the sugar crust. I get one four-pack at Easter. They must be the chicks (bunnies are too small, although they're cuter), and that pack is gone the day I take my first bite of one.

The other thing I get are those tiny chocolate eggs with the speckled blue candy shell. I don't think they're tasty - the chocolate is a total throwaway, but they're pretty.

And, of course, my family always makes an Easter treat. Usually cupcakes, but we've done a full cake or panna cotta or pie before. That's the sweet that really worth eating :naughty:
