Vegetable egg foo young and don't load it with the gravy... Or any dish with vegetables where the protein isn't deep fried.

Eat lots of vegetables. Not too much rice. Nothing deep fried. And remember that it's all pretty high in sodium so expect water weight the next day! But enjoy….Chinese food is my favorite!

Echoing PP's, veggies and not fried. Broccoli beef, chicken and vegetables, etc. Stay away from rice/lo mein if you can. But beware of sodium water weight gain. Just don't do Chinese if your weigh in day is the next morning.

My family does Chinese every Sunday, but my weigh day is Monday so I always skip. I'll gain at least 2 pounds in water weight if I eat Chinese, so I try to time it during the week. It all falls off eventually, but I get pretty easily discouraged so I don't weigh for a couple days after eating it.

Most delivery places have a "healthy options" menu which is just steamed chicken or other proteins with steamed vegetables, with rice and sauce on the side. I usually do that, and load it with hot sauce.
Or I get something I actually like such as fried rice, but I measure it out and log it so that I don't go overboard. Most Chinese food is in the MFP system. Coincidentally this also results in one order of fried rice lasting for LOTS of meals.

Chinese food is no different than any other food.

There are calorie and macro dense dishes, and not so calorie and macro dense dishes.

Just make sensible choices from the menu.

Do you like to cook? We make our own version and its just as good, if not better. I make an awesome Chinese chicken and fried rice dinner. Its one of my husbands favorite meals.

You basically take cut-up chicken breast, throw it in a ziploc with cornstarch. Toss it around. Add ginger, soy sauce, garlic and pepper. Let that sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes. (helps the breading stick to the meat) Then stir-fry it in olive oil until browned.

For the rice, just cook some white rice and let it cool. Heat up a pan with some olive oil. Toss your cold rice and chopped green onions in the pan and stir-fry a few minutes. Push rice around the sides to create a "bowl". Add a couple eggs in the center and scramble. Then add some peas, carrots and water chestnuts. Drizzle a little bit of soy sauce around and stir-fry a bit longer.

You can get creative and add broccoli, zucchini, etc. This is so good topped with sriracha sauce too! HTH!

We ordered Chinese a few weeks back and on their low cal menu was steamed broccoli. For $6. If I'm going to eat $6 steamed broccoli when I order Chinese, it's going to be on top of some General Tsos or Lo Mien.

(This was a knock on the restaurant I ordered from, not this post. Six bucks for a small order of steamed broccoli? No, thanks. I have broccoli in my fridge.)

But I generally don't do Chinese unless I'm going to get what I want because we only ever order takeout, and we don't do it often. So if i'm going to eat steamed veggies and chicken, I'll just make it at home.
