Double Counting Steps

Will my steps be double counted if I add runs to MFP and use my Fitbit to track steps? I wear the Fitbit while running. Or should I just use the fitbit and not add the times when I actually run to MFP?

If you add the correct start and end time it won't double count; however since running is step based I don't personally see the point in adding it separately. But then I never had any good results from adding in extra exercise to get more calories to eat back, I did much better just letting fitbit do its thing. If it works for you though to eat extra then definitely go for it!0

Thank you so much! I will just leave it up to Fitbit. I don't really want to eat the calories, but if I am only eating 1200 calories a day, should I?

At only 1200 I'd definitely eat some. You need some fuel to be able to keep doing the running!0

Thanks again.0
