Tips to keep going!

I'm always seeing discouraged people on here beating themselves up about past mistakes or not being perfect regarding diet or exercise, please remember that to succeed we need to make mistakes, its our choices to fix these problems and being proactive to prevent these things from happening again. I understand why people feel this way because i have had times where i have felt the same. The best way to motivate yourself is to find ways to organise yourself without putting any pressure on yourself and set short and long term goals to keep you excited about why you need to do the little things!
Once a week, i think up a short term daily goal that will help me achieve my long term goal and implement it into my daily routine. For example these are the ones i have thought up and implemented so far:
1: Eat around 40g fat/day
2: Reduce fruit intake to 3 serves per day
3: Eat one large salad per day
I'm already lean and in a routine with general health and fitness so these are more fat loss specific goals that wouldnt be as suited to a regular person looking to lose weight and get healthy, but some ideal short term daily goals could be:
1: 1 100calorie sweet treat per day
2: Eat my 5 fruit and veg for the day
3: Replace any other treat cravings with a handful of trail mix and a glass of water
And here are some exercise related ones:
1: Wake up at 6am for a 30min walk
2: Do a bodyweight workout on my lunch break
3: Take my kids to the park for some active play
Remember that with proper planning and not relying on pure willpower alone you can achieve ANYTHING you set your mind to!
Love you all!
