Yogurt is was one of my go to snack foods for years until my lactose intolerance became to severe to make it a good choice. I tried some of the dairy free options but most of them are just super high in sugar and not a whole lot else. I might as well have some cookies or junk food instead most of the time.
And then I found out my grocery store was carrying Green Valley Organics Lactose Free Yogurt! Whew that's a mouthful. But I can eat it no problem and it tastes pretty darn good. It's still kind of high in sugar but It's got a good amount of protein and calcium in it, both of which I have a really hard time getting enough of during the day, so I'll take it as a win.
The company also makes cream cheese(which I have tried and super liked) and sour cream (which I haven't tried but am excited to).
