Hi there,

I am currently 5'0, 145 lbs. I have recently begun an exercise and intake regimen, however I'd love some guidance. My goal is to lose 20-30 lbs by October 2016 (the month of my wedding)!. I am moderately active and currently I am trying to eat between 1100 - 1300 calories/day with exercise (mostly cardio) 3x/week. Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks! :)

    Congratulations on your wedding!

If you are having your dress fitted, you should plan on maintenance for the last 6-8 weeks.

Set a reasonable goal for that reduced time period. Remember that sleep and stress can affect weight loss, so focus on your healthy habits. Trying to lose too much can trigger stress hormones.

weigh your food and accurately record everything you put in your mouth. CICO will work. How much you lose depends on the deficit, but shoot for a pound a week as you have about 30 weeks until October. You might lose faster or slower.

I found this awesome website that calculates how many calories you need to eat daily to lose x amount of weight in x amount of months

let me know how you like it?

^^^^^^ She already has one of those, it is called MyFitnessPal and it comes with a support group.

BEST advice I can give anyone that was a game changer for me, BUY A FOOD SCALE and use it.
