Lost my fitbit, what replacement do you all recommend?

Lost my fitbit. Just fell off my wrist somewhere during my travels yesterday. I've looked everywhere so I guess I will have to replace it. My husband says there are many choices on the market and maybe I should look into something else. I'm wondering what you all have and how do you like it? I'm fine with getting another fitbit but I'd like to see what you all recommend. Thanks!

I have the Vivosmart HR by Garmin ($150 at Best Buy if you are in the US ) and like it alot. Is my first tracker, so I can't really offer a comparison. Tracks HR, steps, exercise, calories burned, sleep, and more. Also has alarm clock and interacts with Samsung S4 easily and is compatible with MFP. Oh, and waterproof so I can wash dishes and shower with it on too. :)

Try contacting them. I've heard they've replaced lost Fitbits before.

They do. They replaced my husbands and gave me a refund for my recalled fitbit.

Open a case with fitbit. Chances are they may replace it for free. I haven't lost mine but I had two of them sort of deconstruct themselves and they always replaced it. I have heard of people losing it and getting it replaced. Also, I have misplaced mine, albeit in the house, and I downloaded a free bluetooth tracker onto my tablet and I was able to find it using that. Without that I would never have just come across it looking for it because it had ended up in a really obscure place. You might try that, you never know. I also think that if you are thinking of getting another tracker you should look at the interface that comes with it. Other tracker dashboards are going to look different and perhaps report information differently.

I would for sure contact Fitbit. They will more than likely replace free of charge. If it just fell off, then maybe the clasp was defective ( Wink ;) ) The customer service at fitbit is really amazing!

I agree with the others- before you go to the expense of replacing, contact fitbit. I have had mine for a year and a half, and have worn it everyday. The band broke last week, so I reached out to fitbit to see if there was a replacement band available for the Fitbit Charge, and they sent me a new one! I have heard the same from others who lost theirs. Worth a try!

In my experience, Fitbit has tremendous customer service, so I'll jump on board with contacting them first. But after three of them stopped working in the span of a year I decided to try something else. I've been using a Garmin vivosmart hr for a few weeks now and so far I like it.
