Although my account is pretty old already, I just started actually using MFP about a months ago.
I've lost 20Kgs more or less effortless in 2011, after changing my diet from sweets, junk and microwaveable food to real food. Plus some sports and the fat melted wonderfully. But since my lifestyle was SO bad before, there wasn't not much to do other than changing into a better lifestyle. (wow, that sounds super pretentious, but I hope you understand what I mean)
Then I stopped and my weight is quite stable since 2012, which is awesome, but now I want to tackle the remaining 20Kgs. But since my lifestyle isn't that bad anymore (ok, I went back to some bad habits, but kept a lot of good things) it's real effort this time and I struggle a lot more to get even started.
So I'm here and hope that all the nice statistics and tools will help me to get back into the discipline to fight those kilos.
Feel free to add me, I'm always a bit hesitant to just add unknown people, but I assume that's what we're here for, isn't it?
And this post at least motivated me to complete my journal entries again, which I almost ignored during the last week.
More about me? I'm 36, living in northern Germany, work in IT and spend my evenings usually with a nice book and my cats or singing in classical choirs. The choirs are the main reason for my current sloppiness, because I have about 6 concerts until Easter and spend almost all of my days singing, so neither do I track my intake properly, nor do I eat properly, since the golden M is the easiest choice when I have only 15 minutes between work and singing.
