Barbell Row question

Stronglifts 5x5, barbell row: pull up to your waist or your chest? The stronglifts guy says pull it to your chest, hitting about the same spot you hit during a bench press.

But here
http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/BackGeneral/BBBentOverRow.html
I shows pulling it up to the waist. Which do you do or prefer? And problem with either way?

Thanks in advance.

I like a wide grip and pull to same spot as I touch for bench press. Others go lower which utilises more lats rather than rhomboids/middle traps.

"upper waist" is where the chest begins and depending on "breasts" which can get in the way...it's 50/50 call...I aim for chest..BUT the more important issue here is the position of the back..keep it flat as shown in the link you provided..don't let it round or you're probably using weights you're not yet ready for ..:flowerforyou:
