My goal is 1500 calories a day. My question is do you count your 1500 calories and that's that or like on here when you exercise the # of calories you burn it gives it back to you so you go by the calories then?

It's really up to you. But MFP overestimates the calories you burn from exercise, so if you do eat them back, only eat 50%.0

It depends what you put for your activity level.
If you put sedentary, your 1500 assumes you have a desk job and a few 1000 steps a day.
In that case, yes, I would eat 30% of my exercise calories back. The database is way over estimating for me.
If 1500 includes an active lifestyle, then I wouldn't eat back my exercise calories because it already estimates your expected activity.0
