First cheat meat today - HELP!

Hi I get my cheat meal, which I would try to make it reasonable. And a couple of drinks, trying not to go too much over my daily limit, which is very low because of how short I am. Any of you have cheat meals and days with alcohol consumption? How does it affect the weight loss plan?

You will probably have a day or two of temporary fluid gain, it won't be a fat gain. Don't let it derail you, drink plenty of fluids and any temporary fluid gain will reduce over a couple of days.

I ate ice cream, cheesecake AND beer last night, and I feel great for it :-)

Isn't the point of a cheat meal to go over your calories? Otherwise it's just another day but your macros maybe aren't so good??

I went over my calories yesterday by about 600, but I had already pretty much had that saved up from the rest of the week.

I savoured every mouthful of those sinful calories ;)

Food really shouldn't make you feel guilty.

I give myself a meal with unlimited calories every once and awhile. I usually know when the meal is coming up and ill save a couple hundred calories the days leading up to the meal.
Enjoy the meal, meals with more calories are fun.

    +1

When I have a cheat meal (birthday, anniversary, Xmas), I'm looking at 3000 - 4000 calories for the day.

If you're in your calorie goal, don't fuss too much. As PP said, you might get some weight gain from water retention, but it should go away.

    This.

I've had a glass of wine every night for the past two weeks. No guilt. I fit it into my calories for the day. I still lose weight.

you are eating and drinking, not killing puppies.

    no guilt necessary.

i dont do cheat meals. i fit what i want in my goals and if i go over on occasion, so be it. i drink like a sailor at least one night a month (sometimes two or more). i eat all sorts of 'junk'. I'm going to garth brooks tonight and will begin drinking the moment we park the truck. LOLOLOL

    I'm down a total of 85 pounds.

    dont stress over it .
