Hi all i need some advice or help from people who have successfully done this before!
I am travelling to India for 3 weeks in April ( 2 weeks for work training and one week for travel) and I am trying to be prepared for keeping within my calories! The two weeks training will be in a nice hotel and there will be a buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner along with traditional indian dishes!!
There is a gym in the hotel too so i plan on trying to get to it as much as possible even for just 30-40 mins 3-4 times a week as training will be long enough! we will also have a lot of social events in the evenings which of course will involve alcohol so will need to manage all this too!!
Has anyone successfully managed this and what tips do you have also? Also from anyone that has been to India what foods are best to try/avoid in terms of calories etc??
All advice welcome

For drinks I would recommend Vodka, Lime and Soda as it only has the 65ish Calories for each drink. You can always add alittle flavour to it if it is to bitter and not go over board with the Calories . Most hotels over there will have both western and national foods so you should have a variety. Alot of there currys have good protein just don't go crazy on the rice or bread as these will kill you in the end. There should also be alot of vegetables dishes too, that should keep you full. Enjoy your time over there. I go to nepal in May which is next door to India so similar styles.
