Staying away from home overnight

Hola,
How do you guys deal with staying away from home overnight, maybe at a partners place? Especially one who usually doens't have food available to cook with. I usually have breakfast food stored at work. Also sometimes it might be impromptu staying over. There's only really an overpriced convenience store nearby or takeaways

Bring some. I always have protein powder, protein bars, fiber bars, & pop tarts in my over night bag.0

Bring some or don't eat.
Back when I was doing that sort of thing, I wasn't going over to eat food.0
