Hi all,
As soon as I decided to finally do something about this excess weight by joining MFP and getting a Fitbit, my hip bursitis has flared up something awful and I can barely walk let alone exercise vigorously enough to burn calories. Does anyone know of a successful way for me to drop these pounds due to my health situation? I'm insulin resistant and should probably eat low carb-high protein, but how can that be accomplished and still stay in a relatively lower calorie range? Any suggestions and ideas are welcome.

Get into a calorie deficit in whatever macro ratio you like. Bursitis sucks, I'm sorry. But you know, exercise is for health and weight loss happens in the kitchen. When you get better, get back to walking.0

Not sure what you mean by "macro ratio" but I will research it. I will try to cut back calorie-wise to have calories left at the end of the day. Thanx for replying.
