I prefer to save calories and have just one good beer rather than several cheap ones.

Here's a list of the lowest calorie ones:
    Budweiser Select 55: 55 calories.
    Beck's Premier Light: 63 calories.
    Miller 64: 64 calories.
    Amstel Light: 95 calories.
Anheuser-Busch Light Pale Lager: 95 calories.
    Michelob Ultra: 95 calories.
    Natural Light: 95 calories.
    Miller Light: 96 calories.

Except that's not a beer and he asked about beer. I actually had a beer today (logged the closest I could find since I had a local beer). I also am a competitive bodybuilder and if I could never have beer again I'd quit.

i prefer drinking my full flavored beers, and log them into my day. i just drink less of them.

supposedly dark beers typically have less calories than lighter colored beers, but i just don't like the flavor. higher alcohol content beers also tend to have more calories.

Honestly though I feel like there's no point to the low calorie beers...you end up having to drink more to get any sort of feeling anyway so what's the point lol.

I would just plan ahead and be able to drink what you like.

The beer isn't what makes you fat, the poor decisions following the drinking is what does. If you want to kick back and have a couple just work it into your calories for the day. I personally prefer a couple shots of a liquor mixed with a diet drink or "light" mix depending what I make, about same calories as a full flavored beer and it comes with a buzz with the higher alcohol content

Either mix liquor with diet soda orrr drink Bud Light but honestly I'm starting to swear off Bud Light. It doesn't give me a good buzz anymore

As for styles: summery beers are best to keep calories low. Berliner Weisse, Zwickel, mild ales, gose, etc. Also there has been a focus on "sessionable" beers in the craft beer community lately, especially for session IPAs.

Life's too short to drink bad beer.
