Hello,

I'm just now getting serious about a healthy life style and weight loss so my question is what sort of Heart Rate Monitor should I get?

I want one that I can wear during exercise (not all day) that will accurately track the calories I've burned.

Any ideas?

Thanks! :)

I got the Polar FT4 and I love it. It's not super fancy but does everything I need and is under $100.

    Is it fairly accurate?

Ditto - I have this one. Works great. Easy to use.

I got the Polar FT7, but the FT4 is great, too.
I think using a HRM with a chest strap is the most accurate you can get. But it is still an estimation, after all.
