I'm new to this site, and would love friends who are trying to love 100+ lbs.
I'm on a journey of a lifetime, heading towards gastric bypass.
Any help and motivation would be very welcomed

Hi! I am due to have my gastric bypass either in april or may (my surgeon is currently off recovering from a knee operation so I haven't been given a date yet). I am around 270 lbs.. so a lot of weight to lose!! Add me if you want :)

Get it done. Listen to your doctor, go to support groups. I was 270lbs as of June 27th 2016. As of today 200.6. never felt better I walk, ride my bike. Was in SFO last weekend and rode my bike over the Golden gate bridge. Best feeling ever. Off all diabetes medicine. Blood pressure meds. I wanted to be thin all my life. And now I'm getting there, with the support of my husband and kids. And rest of my family. You need a good support team first off. I did 3 years of research. I decided to go with a hospital that offers support groups once a month. Classes to introduce what you can eat at 3 months, 6months etc. I had mine at Silver Cross hospital in new Lennox, il. great BMI center. I drive 32 miles because I liked their program that's important as well. Good luck email anytime if u need support.
