I enjoy a banana in my cereal every morning and often another with some yogurt or ice cream at the end of the day. I doubt it has much to do with my rate of weight loss.

If I could afford it, I would love to eat 15+ bananas a day! <3

How much are bananas where you live?

The cheapest is $1.20 per kilo but unfortunately bananas are the one of few things that I prefer organic, and that stuff is anywhere from $2.80 to $5.50 / kg. Depends on the batch and store. I'm not sure about banana prices all around the world but I'm bummed about mine...

Bananas are $1.50 per kg (1kg = 2.2lbs) here pretty much all year round, because they come straight from Queensland who grow them all year. I remember when the cyclones hit up there and caused a mass shortage, they were around $15 per kg then :worried:

Peter Siddle, one of our Aussie cricket players eats 15-20 bananas a day, and he's a little fit pocket rocket.

Oh yes I remember reading that.

Not sure if he does it all the time or just when in training.

However he is 187 cm tall, about 6 ft 3 in, and is a young very athletic male.

Probably fair to say most people could not eat 15+ bananas a day and still have a calorie appropriate and nutritionally balanced diet.

Much as I like bananas, I don't think I've ever eaten more than 3 a day.
The thought of 15 - 20 per say is rather overwhelming :o

Well slap me silly! I've always thought he was a little short *kitten*, he looks so little on TV!

I don't watch much cricket, just got his stats from google.

But I know what you mean - I watch a lot of AFL and the ruck men who all look about the same size and average height on TV are actually all at least about 6ft 7 .
Distorts your perception when everyone else you are seeing them with is also tall.

Sorry OP that has nothing whatsoever to do with bananas.
