Getting ready to hit the gym!!

Hello Folks, hoping that someone can help me out. I'll be a newbie at the gym pretty soon, and I kind of have an idea of what lifting program I want to follow, just got some concerns.
Here are a few things to understand where I'm at right now and what I want to achieve.
Starting Weight: 410 lbs (at least I think, could have been more, but couldn't find a scale.)
Start Date: 01/23/2016
Current Weight: 363 lbs (as of this past Friday)
Diet: 1st half, I did mostly low calorie, and didn't concern myself with much of anything else, 2nd half and so far, I've been on a mostly low carb diet, where I think the results have sped up.
Fitness and Exercise: Honestly, pretty much none. I started doing some mobility exercises in the morning, but nothing really, not even cardio/walking/swimming. But this is what I feel I'm ready to change.
My goal weight: 175 lbs ( I know it's a long goal, I have smaller goals of 350, then 300, then 250..etc, but I figured I'd give you the overall goal)
My age and height: I'm 35, and 5'11
So with that out of the way, I'll be joining a local small gym in my community this upcoming week. The exercise plan I plan on using is the IC 5x5 3 days a week. Questions regarding that:
1. Should I be doing cardio in between those workouts. Meaning cardio on Tuesdays/Thursdays. Or should I be doing cardio at the beginning or end of those 3 day workouts and just rest the rest of the week?
2. Right now I'm eating a deficit. MFP calculates my intake at about 2300 calories a day to lose weight. I've been getting anywhere from 1200-1500 depending on the day. Being that I still want to lose weight, but also want to eventually have visible muscle and tone, will I have to up my caloric in take while lifting? What I don't want to do, is slow down my weight loss.
3. Anyone that had an extreme amount of weight to lose, how long after going to the gym for lifting did you really start to see physical results?
Thank you for any and all input.
