I recently purchased a manual treadmill and a friend of mine said that they're bad for you. What's your take on this? Good? Bad?
I like it because it makes me work.

I bought one off Craigslist one bored morning. Hated it.
The brand is Phoenix. I don't know if there's better manual treadmills on the market but mine required way too much force to keep it going. Ideally I just wanted to use it for walking but it's pretty much impossible without holding on the rail and churning my feet furiously to keep the belt moving. It was anything but a casual stroll and even sprinting on it felt awkward. I hope your experience is better.
