Hi my name is Brandon and I have been doing this for almost 1 year come may 15th. I have lost an incredible amount of weight off my body. I started my journey at an alarming amount of weight. Im doing this for two reasons to not die at a young age and to make my self an better person. I started at 432lbs and what my doctor said that I had a mild heart attack. I have lost over 70 lbs so far but I've seemed to plateaus do you guys got some pointers for me? Oh I also work out 5-6 days aweek.

Congrats on the loss so far. Reduction of calories by 100-200 a day got me rolling again after a 3 week stall. I also weighed my food more accurately (was doing too much guessing).

Sweet thanks rob for the info. When I started the myfitnesspal app and put in my weight which was 432 it only gave me 2,970 calories for the day but after my weight started dropping my calories did too I'm down to 2,670 in calories now. But so far I've lost like 75 lbs so far. Today I went in for my weight in like I do every two weeks and she said I gained like 4 ounches but gained a half inch on my arms lost a half inch in my stomach and my chest two weeks ago was 57.8 inches and now its 56.6 inches .so I guess in the long run that's a good thing and I need to keep doing what I'm doing and not get depressed so much . lol

Just don't give up. A few years ago I was on my fitness pal I hit a plateau for about two months. I got so frustrated I gave up. I gained 15 of the 30 pounds I lost. Join my fitness pal and I'm down 15 pounds again. And I'm at a plateau again but this time I'm just going to push through it
