Oats V bran ?

I eat oats etc but get bored ! Is high fibre bran any good to eat female who wants to build muscle ?

    Can't see it contains anything relevant to building muscle or being a woman. It might make you spend more time in the bathroom.

    It does not matter much. Eating variety is a good idea.

    Oats contain resistant starch, which may be beneficial.

    It's all good, and both go very well with raisins and milk. Raisins have a little iron which is good for women. Milk has calcium which is good for women.

    Neither of those support muscle building. Muscle being comes from progressive overload lifting and a calorie surplus, in combination with adequate protein (1g per lb of lean body mass). How you make up that calorie profile, is truly up to personal preference. I am on a cut, but I go for P28 protein bagels with peanut butter during the week, omelets and oatmeal w/ protein powder on the weekends.
