You're not eating at a deficit if you're not losing weight.

How are you determining you're eating 1200 calories? Are you just eyeballing portions/counting pieces?

Ideally, all solid food should be weighed on a scale to ensure accuracy, and all liquids measured in measuring cups/spoons.

You're probably eating more than you think.

Use a measuring tape and record your measurements. Log food accurately. and keep at it.

OP if you're not losing on 1200 calories, then you are eating more than you think. Depending also how long you've been doing this for.
Do you weigh all your food? Are you honest and accurate with everything you log in your diary?

You will get much more detailed advice if you make your diary public

What exercises are you doing? How do you determine the calories burned in that exercise? Moreover, what constitutes "cheating" in your eyes with respect to frequency and excess calories? Do you keep your daily sodium intake in a narrow range of variation from day to day?

Simply varying sodium by 300 mg from one day to the next can cause a 2 lb gain or loss of water.
Cheating with 2x your maintenance calories once a week is too much and too often.
Trusting the MFP exercise database to tell you what your exercise burn is might be the problem. The MFP exercise database is rumored to be too generous by half.

    Hi guys

I am currently not weighing my my food. I have been dieting for almost 6 months. My workouts at the boot camp has been going on for 2 months now. And yes I have been honest yes.
And for the exercises I reduce the calories burned by 200 and odd never take mfp value.
I will try to weigh food. Does anyone know a good vegetarian diet ? I am also eating quest protein bars for protein but I prefer something savoury as these bars are sweet but I can't have diary or soy. So not sure how else to get my protein.

If you're not weighing your food you might be eating a lot more than you think. Your body doesn't have unlimited source of energy wether you're 50 kg or 200 kg. If it can't get enough calories from your food intake it will take from your fat reservers and that means you will lose weight (but if you lift a lot for muscle mass you'll probably see more changes on a measuring tape than the scale).
I don't know very much about you, but since you're only 80kg your resting metabolic rate isn't that much. The less you weight, the less energy your body needs to maintain that weight (that's why very overweight/obese people hits plateaus on their weight loss, after losing some weight they need to adjust their calorie goal to stay in a calorie deficit).
You can do a calculation of your metabolic rate here but keep in mind that this isn't an exact number, only a guideline for how much energy your body needs to simply stay alive with no activity.

Non-soy sources of plant protein include beans, grains, vegetables, nuts, and seitan. You can also find hemp, rice, or pea protein powders.

If you aren't weighing your food, then it's very possible you are eating more than you think you are.

How do you know you are eating 1200 calories if you don't weigh your food? This will undoubtedly be the reason your weight loss has stalled.
