Bad day yesterday

Yesterday was a very bad, stressful, and emotional day for me! I went to try on wedding dresses and just hated the way I looked. Luckily it was just my sister with me so she was a little comforting. But I got home and just went into an eating frenzy... I order a pizza (meat lovers) and drank a beer! Ugh I felt so horrible afterwards!!! But got up and ran a 3 mile and did a little cardio workout here at home. Ok so I'm over it!!! That horrible feeling I had yesterday is going to push me to keep going. FAT BRIDE DONT CARE!!! It's what I will look after I continue with my workouts and eating healthy! So happy I can vent here!

Unfortunately the shops tend to only have the small sizes to try on or the HUGE PLUS size dresses that look like tents. I was upset the first time I went looking. But I found my dress (after 3 different shops) and when it was properly fitted it looked fantastic. Don't worry- You will be a beautiful bride.

I'm with ya, girl. I came home to a couple of "presents" my dog left for me. With an hour and a half commute and a child under 2, after a stressful Monday at work...that just did it for me. I had 3 glasses of wine and some Reese's Eggs. I ate according to plan all day otherwise, though. The fact is people like you and I don't paid to keep a 6-pack. We have to deal with everyday stresses and THEN tack on regimented eating and workouts. We are going to falter. The trick is the recovery and doing better going forward. You said you had a good workout after that. That's what matters. Just tell yourself...NO MORE PIZZAS FOR A WHILE. And stick to that plan. You're going to be a beautiful bride no matter the size on your dress' tag, and everyone in attendance at your wedding will agree with that. However, this isn't about those people. This is about you and YOU feeling beautiful. So remember long-term goals versus instant reward the next time you want to order that pizza. ;-) Don't feel bad about falling off from time-to-time. We're human. And gosh darn it, sometimes us humans need pizza!
