Eating an Avocado pit?

Found a link on how to prepare the pit for eating. http://www.nourishmewhole.com/how-to-eat-an-avocado-seed
Anyone ever done this? Does it still taste like an avocado?

Link didn't work for me but I have never heard of eating the seed. Doesn't seem appealing to me.

This is good, I like making use of all the leftover kitchen scraps.

People keep telling me about it, seems to be the latest craze.

Stupid link! The video popped up on my facebook with link attached. Basically dehydrate the pit and the shell pops off, then chop/crush the seed and add to smoothies etc.

Considering the article states that you want to put the powder in stuff to hide the bitterness, I'm already sure it doesn't taste as good as an avacado. And you need a high powered blender, like a vitamix. The aggravation of the whole process to make a bitter powder that I have to sneak into foods with a strong flavor... nah, I'm good. Interesting concept though!
