We packed six garbage bags full of clothes to take to Goodwill from my husband and I. Since last August, my husband has lost 90 lbs, pants went from size 42 to 34; and I've lost 59 lbs- clothes went from size 20 to size 12. We've been holding onto these bigger-sized clothes, but it was time to get rid of them! It was hard to do that but it feels GREAT!

yess I remember doing the same a few months back... I took some to Goodwill and the rest to homeless shelter my church sponsors...

Goodwill is also a place to be transitional clothing while you are still in weightloss mode....

^^This exactly! I've never shopped there much before, but I've been shopping there a lot during the last few months as I've been dropping sizes!! It's nice to not spend so much on clothes when you don't where the same size for too long

Congratulations!! I've been doing the same myself. Just had to move to a new apartment and in the transition, realized "Damn, I still have a lot of large clothes." I'd hold them up to me or try them on and go "What was I thinking?" LOL... here's to a new you (you and your hubby) and some new duds!!

Awesome job! I love Goodwill. I'd been holding on to a lot of skinny clothes that really wouldn't fit my style when I lose weight. I told my husband "I'm making some teenage girl that shops at Goodwill very happy!"

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did that this last weekend finally. Tried to sale as many as I could in a garage sale and dumped the rest at a Goodwill bin. Great feeling but damn, got rid of some nice clothes...

My husband had a difficult time parting with stuff because we'd spent so much money on them. But I don't want to give myself the chance to go back to those sizes!
