Scanning food and logging it

Is there a way to scan food and not log it right away. I use my phone and it seems every time I scan food I have to log it and then erase it. Any input?

    I will like to know also. I scan everything and move everything the day before to start my current day. It should have a simple food inventory ...

    OK for example I had chicken slices today at 68grams but the inventory only says 112 grams on my diary. How to a change that? Ugh so frustrating.

    Oh and I took 48 grams of wheat thins instead of the 1 serving of 28 grams.

    There is an option to change the serving size. So manipulate the serving size until it matches how much you ate.
