Like many, I have struggled with my weight for 23 years now, since I was 22 and found myself at 262 pounds. I have been up and down over the years but never close to that, then I recently found myself close to that weight again, 254.6. Although the app has my starting weight at 250.6 for some reason, that is incorrect and I'm not able to fix it just yet. Update says you will be able to but for the time being it thinks that's it. At 44 I was ready to give and and told myself I was meant to be fat and that's just the way it was. I finally came around, woke up and restarted my journey. There have been many factors, living with an unhealthy person, engaged, unengaged, fertility meds, car accidents, bad knee, bad back, and of course eating unhealthy or too much. I certainly know what to do and how to do it, I just had to get in the right frame of mind.

Anyhow.... I started last Wednesday and when I weighed this morning I was at an even 250. 4.5 down in the past week! Yeah! I usually set small goals. Under 250, under 240, etc. I try not to overwhelm myself with wanting to lose 70-80 pounds. I can't wait to reach the next mini goal. I feel excited and happier than I have in a while.

Congrats that's awesome. Small goals are definitely the way to go. Keep up the great work and remember this is a lifestyle change not a race.
