Healthy aspirations reality masochation

Hello all! I decided to sign up in hopes that, with some community support, I could finally find myself accountable for making some serious lifestyle changes. I'm 35, 5'4" and weigh almost 180. My goal is to ultimately feel healthy, energized, strong, happy. Right now, I am the antithesis of what I yearn: unhealthy, lethargic, weak, & just plain sad.
I think the main source of the problem comes from having been mainly sedentary the past 2 years. It's taken some major tolls on my psyche & my body. I'm in actual physical pain which makes it hard to be physically active. The irony is the best thing for me would be to get up & start moving but mentally this has become a big hurtle.
The other major challenge is resisting temptations of food and drink. It's so hard when the only social interaction I have with friends & family is always going out to eat & going to the bars.
Anyways, enough of the woe is me. Just wanted to give a lil background story of me & say hello to the community.
What I really need are some people to help me stay accountable.
To help me motivate & create a realistic routine so that I stay disciplined when the motivation fades.
& suggestions on how to build energy level so I can finally start making the change happen!
