New to this! Need tips

Hello :) my name is Alexandra and I'm about 5'1 and 110 pounds. After three years of college spent studying and sitting around, I've decided I want to get get the toned and muscular body I once had as a high school athlete. When I excersize now (which is pretty rare) I typically stick to cardio so trying to gain muscle mass is kind of new to me. Any recommendations or tips for trying to reach this goal? Diet habits, excersize routines, anything! Your help would definitely appreciated!

    Get a structured lifting program; list can be found here . Figure out how many calories you required to gain. Eat around 100g of protein. And read the stickies on gaining weight. That is where I would start.
