Belly Looks Like It's Deflating??

Hi everyone. I started at 195 lbs in July 2015 and am down to 151 lbs as of this morning - 1 lb away from my original goal weight. Yay! Like many others, my biggest problem area is my belly so I'm going to continue with my weight loss journey until I can get rid of the belly fat and am happy with the way I look.

In any case, what I'm curious about is this: I have a "B" type belly and I noticed this week that my lower belly is starting to look deflated - sort of like how a deflated balloon looks like or cellulite. Does this mean anything? Is it too hopeful for me to think this is a good sign that the fat loss is finally happening in my belly area?

It really just means that you are losing mass in that area. Mine is very deflated looking but I wouldn't call it cellulite-ish. I think it looks like a melted candle.

    I'm a B belly person too.
As @jemhh said, you are just losing in that area.
The cellulite look will improve over time. How much depends on age. I am older and though it looks better than it did when I first lost my weight, it is by no means perfect.
I have never totally got rid of the top tummy, eventhough I lift. The bane of my existence. :)

    Cheers, h.

Thanks jemhh and middlehaitch! I don't mind the cellulite-ish look for now if it means I'm finally losing belly fat! Woohoo!

Middlehaitch - you look fantastic! I would be ecstatic if I can get my body anywhere close to what you look like

    Thanks, @cglouie.
I will never have definition, but lifting what is heavy for me and bodyweight work has really improved the shape of my body, strength and endurance.

Just keep working towards your goal.

    Cheers, h.

Edit to add. Although my B belly looks good stood up now when I sit it still has the big crease where waist bands get trapped and my top tummy bloops over. I think I would have to lose too much fat and lift with a lot more dedication to ever change that. If it could change at all.
