Eating back calories on IIFYM?

I'm new to IIFYM and had a custom workup done to determine my macros. My activity level is inconsistent--I'm sedentary with an office job, but I live in a city and some days do a LOT of walking--so I use a Fitbit to adjust calories on days that I'm moving around a lot. I also use a HRM during exercise and input that into MFP.
Should I stop doing this and stick strictly with the 1690 calories I was told to eat? Should I allow my Fitbit to adjust a bit but ditch the HRM? I can't find any consistent answers, and on days I'm really active I think I'll need more calories (since my workup was based on a sedentary lifestyle). Especially on days I have a few drinks.
Edit:
About me, I'm 5'7", 140 lbs, and I want to lose between 5 and 10 lbs while toning. I'm strength training for about an hour 4x a week as heavy as I can lift while keeping good form, and I've cut down my cardio to 2-3x a week. Usually HIIT. Probably gonna throw a few classes in the mix in the upcoming weeks (Pilates/Barre). My current body fat is about 24%, and I'd like to bring that down to 20% or slightly lower.
