Consumed 16 oz of Escolar by MISTAKE you say? Yes I did.
I've been trying to incorporate more fish into my diet, so I bought several lbs of cod and orange roughy (it was on sale).
I ate 8 oz last night and 8 oz this morning of orange roughy.
Went to the restroom, had a bowel movement, noticed all this bright orange oil floating in the water.
Did a little bit of research and apparently what I consumed was not orange roughy, but a fish called escolar which is often mislabeled and sold in the United States under various names such as white tuna, cod, orange roughy, etc...
It is banned in most countries and labeled as toxic.
2 questions:
Did consuming this fish totally mess with my calorie allotment and macro/micro nutrients percentages?
and...
Is this fish ACTUALLY toxic? Anyone have extensive knowledge about this fish?

The WIKI does not say it is toxic, but that is can cause issues with some people. Relax you are not going to drop dead, you may have some cramps and diarrhea. As to nutrition, look it up and log it. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/fish-escolar-raw-1991635320

According to wiki, it's been labeled toxic in Japan. I guess I should've been more specific...
Thanks for the link.
