Don't be discouraged, you ARE making some progress, and that is definitely good. Energy and motivation come from inside, so stay focused on why you want to lose some weight and draw energy from that. I would recommend doing some exercise that is more enjoyable like brisk outdoor walking or bicycling. Your weight loss is going to depend on your diet more so than your exercising, so focus on calorie deficit and be patient. Eat more salad and fewer starchy carbs like potatoes and bread.0

Thanks for the pep talk. I will try to focus more on my diet and remember the reasons why I want to lose weight Thanks again.0

What are your stats? Depending on how much you have to lose, half a pound a week is very reasonable.0

Next time you go to the grocery store pick up three one pound blocks of butter. That's how much fat is gone off of your body so far. Nothing at all to be disappointed about. Slow is fine and more likely to be for good.0

Dont be so hard on yourself. We didnt put it on overnight and we are not going to lose it right a way. just by eating better you are doing better for your life in the long run. ANYTHING is better than gaining more.0

3lbs in 6 weeks is great! Stop being so hard on yourself. Look, we didn't gain weight overnight. Don't expect to wake up and it's gone overnight. Keep up the good work!0

You could have gained 6lbs. Losing the 6 is better than that. Look at it that way.0

I weighed in today and actually gained a pound!!! I don't know why, I don't think I am overeating and 99% of the time I am under my caloiries0

I have heard that stress can cause issues with gaining weight, so try to stay relaxed and be patient. Also, your body weight will fluctuate throughout the day, so pick a time of day to weight yourself (morning is usually best) and only weight yourself during that time. To help stay relaxed, you might also consider weighing yourself once per week, that's what a lot of people do. Your journey is many steps, don't be discouraged by any single one.0

It's a marathon for everyone. You just gotta focus on the progress you're making (3 lbs) and ride that wave!
