Strenght Training

I want to know what is the best way to gain muscle mass. I've read that a 5×5 is the best way to increase muscle mass and others swear by the classic pyramid of 10 8 6 4 2. I like to lift heavy with an emphasis on size but I'm afraid I might be lifting wrong.I also focus in interval trainining to burn fat. Am I doing this correctly or should i change it up a little.

Just pick a program with a progressive overload, eat a 250 calorie surplus, and forget about the interval training to burn fat. 5x5 is fine. If you look in the Gaining Weight section there is a thread with a lot of programs listed, any of them will be fun for a bulk.
