I have so much trouble staying motivated. I have came back and forth because of time limitations and workplace stress. I can say that I have managed to keep 6 pounds off since I started but that's not saying much since I started so long ago. How does everyone else juggle healthy living around their lives.

if you want it, you get it. determination is so much more than motivation. make a decision, and stick to it

You're right, but that's is a lot easier said than done.

You have to find a balance. Once it becomes habit it is much easier to maintain. It comes with working for what is most important to you. Setting priorities for your life. Welcome to add me, I am on daily.

Exercise is just something I do like anything else...it has nothing to do with motivation. I do many things everyday for which I'm not motivated...I'm rarely motivated to mow the lawn or do the dishes or fold the laundry...but these things need doing so I do them...regular exercise isn't really any different, it became part of my routine just like anything else long ago.

All that said, you do have to have balance...and yeah, sometimes life happens. This week I only lifted 2x and only got in an hour on my bike because life happened...no biggie, I'll carry on next week with my normal routine.
