Too much too soon?

I've just started exercising regularly last Thursday. What I normally do is 6-7 hours cardio 3 days per week and ultra-heavy lifting roughly 14 hours on the other 4 days. I'm concerned that it's not enough cardio maybe should up it to 8-9 hour sessions instead of 6-7.

So far I've been very consistent with my current plan I'm just worried bumping up the time on cardio might make me look "too skinny".

I am going to assume you mean you do 6-7 hours of cardio in total over 3 days and not 6-7 hours on each of those 3 days. Same goes with lifting.

That sounds like a lot but what cardio are you doing? A 2 hour walk, for instance, sounds okay but 2 hours of spinning seems like a lot for a beginner.

Same for lifting. What beginner program has you lifting for 2.5 hours at a time?

I'm assuming these are metric hours as opposed to imperial? Because if not.....

Yea I'm glad you caught that. Since I just started last Thursday I'd have a struggle running even .75 imperial hours. Pardon the confusion there.

I thought imperial hours only passed in whole units of 10.
