Any nutritionists out there familiar with SIBO? Or not a nutritionist but someone who knows? I'm really bloated these days and could use advice :(
I'm off all sugar and grains but still look pregnant.
Thx!

I suggest you consult with your doctor and a registered dietitian, not a nutritionist.

Has a doctor diagnosed this? Have you been tested for possible underlying disease which contributes to this (celiac disease, scleroderma, etc.)? Have you begun or completed the standard antibiotic therapy? Who advised you to discontinue sugar and grains?

Sounds like you do know your stuff! I went through all the tests and SIBO was positive. Possible celiac as well but I was tested after being off gluten for a while. I was advised to go off gluten and grains by my doctor. It worked well for a while but I feel the SIBO is back....
I just started another round of antibiotics.

Yes, a test for celiac disease requires that you do not stop gluten first. If it IS celiac, gluten is hidden in soooo many things. You have to read every label. Hope the antibiotics help.
