Taking a day off

One Saturday last month I did 30,000 steps (15 miles) in one day. It was a 10 mile RT hike, plus some other walking, setting up 2 tents, and camping gear. I suffered for it later in the week. My back when out on Monday, my sinus flared up, then I had a major headache and toothache. Now I am careful not to overdo it in one day and to take some recovery time after a long workout or hike. Also, rehydrating is very important. My appetite was down during all that activity but in full swing the next day!0
