    My husband was working on his motorcycle a couple of weeks ago and got a metal shard stuck in his eyelid. The ophthalmologist told him he was lucky it didn't get stuck in the eyeball. Metal rusts quickly in the eye and can cause permanent rust scars. Maybe that spot is from an old injury?
