My name is Sandy. I've lost 56 lbs in two years (wanted to go slow). I'm into my 3rd year and have kept it off. I don't diet, but feel I eat pretty good. Eat in motivation and do enjoy a sweet or two. I've done weight training, cross fit, etc. but now I'm not seeing any gains. I'm in my early 50's . I enjoy running and starting to lose motivation to weight training. I need the support and push from others. I have some back issues but do my best. I know I could be doing better, but I'm not. I want to lose this additional 20lbs that I've been struggling with the last year or so. Please, I need you all to help me. I am proud of myself and what I've done and I know once I commit and have support from you all and I will be there for you too, I believe I can do it. Thank you all.

Wow! 56 pounds!! I'm just beginning. Need to lose about 40. I'm a teacher and I'm so tired after work that I usually don't do much exercise except walk my dog. I'm so tired during the day that I munch on carbs to get the energy to get through the day. I'm 55 and teach all day kindergarten.

You have come so far. I hope you are proud of what you are doing and know that you can reach your goals

Thank you, I will be more then happy to support and try in help you too. I can relate to you on being so tired. I was so bad at the start, I saw a doc. and that's when they discovered my thyroid was so underactive they put me on something fast. Shortly after I started to feel better and have more energy and clarity. Protein shakes and walking is a great start. Next start walking with the dog for 5 mins. then run for 1 minute, walk for 3 minutes, run up to 2 mins, etc. etc. I started that way and now I'm up to 20 miles a week. Running (outside-if I can being in NH) up to 3/6 miles 3/4 days a week. Good luck. We all need additional support.
