Hi all! I'm Jeff. I'm 39 now and decided that I've let myself go for too long since I got out of the Navy 8 years ago. I'm now at 225lbs with a target weight range of ~175-185 for now. I'm using a number of motivational methods that have worked for some people (weight loss challenge on a local forum, fitbit for step tracking goals and challenges, and this site for a number of things). To go with that, I've dusted off my elliptical machine and am using that for my cardio and then "cooling off" with longer walks with my dog afterwards and on days when I don't do the elliptical.
