Should i be doing something different?

I've had such a hard time losing weight since hitting the 140-145 pound zone. Tomorrow will be my 3rd week on my diet and i've lost NOTHING. My first week i lost 5 pounds and since then i've been flucuating between the 5 pounds (lose and gain it) but am extremely relieved to have found out i lost an inch in my waist...
I'm curious what could be causing me not to lose on the scale? Am i going too hard with exercising? I do 45 minutes 6x a week. I use Jillian Michael videos that use weight in her circuit training (i use 5lbs). Maybe i should do some regular strength training instead and do her aerobic workouts (no weights) instead? Should i not be concerned at all? Thanks!

Going "too hard" with exercising isn't going to prevent fat loss. I really doubt you can go "too hard" (whatever that means) with JM videos anyway.
You didn't mention anything about your diet, I'd start there. That's where the majority of your success will come from.0 -
I mean going too hard as in i'm doing too much too quickly? I've not eaten the most... Clean? But im under calories.
I'm not a huge breakfast person so i dot normally eat something big. Eggs if im hungry, but normally fruit and yogurt. Snacks are vegetables or fruits. Lunch is a sandwich, soup, or if i dont have eggs i will do a hard boiled egg and some vegetables. Dinner is normally whatever is made, i just try to size things up proportionally. I also have fruits bars and chewy gronola type bars for snacks too. Really basic.0 -

It's been 3 weeks and at 140 pounds you can't have a ton of weight to lose. If the scale isn't going up or down I'd give it a 2-3 weeks to see if it picks a direction and then adjust my calories accordingly0

No... at most i have about 30 pounds, probably not even that much. Maybe 20 left. I'll continue and see if i lost anything this week. I'll try to even be MORE strict than i already have. But like i said i've already lost 20 pounds and it wasn't nearly as complicated. I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong.0 -
If I were you, I'd keep your diet basically the same (assuming it is healthy and within your caloric limit) and consider getting a heart-rate monitor. You might not be working out as intensely as you think/feel. I tried one of her Biggest Loser videos, and I couldn't keep up. If I did, my heart rate was not very high at all. I think I get burned out way too quick. Anyway, that's my advice. Or, just find some different cardio. Spring is upon us, maybe go jogging or bike riding.0
