1scoop 30g Protein Powder and 1 Apple with Peanut Butter on my way home from the gym. Then I eat 1 whole skin and all sweet potato with steamed broccoli and either 10oz steak or chicken breast0

Meal timing is pretty irrelevant unless you are in the 1% that has the rest of your diet and training perfect.
Eat what you normally would at that time.0 -
After a weightlifting session at the gym I usually have a cup of Gluten free Cheerios with unsweetened almond milk, or a Egg white veggie cheese omelet.0

He's right. Having said that, a handful of nuts and dried fruit is good for me. Replaces some of the salt loss and gives you some sugar, protein and fiber. It's enough to recharge you without having to sit down for a whole meal.0
