Mom of a toddler struggling to get bAck on trAck

'm in need of a mentor. Before I had my son I was fit. I gained 72 lbs while I was pregnant and I lost 66 of it but then ended up gaining 10 back. I really want to lose 30 lbs but I struggle with the sugar cravings. I work out a lot doing cardio on the elliptical or running and I also do strength training. However, due to my nutrition I'm not getting anywhere. I went to the bodpod and found out I was 40.3 percent body fat. I was not expecting that as I still have a lot of muscle. I weigh 162 lbs and I'm 5'2. 96 lbs is muscle and 66 is fat. Someone please mentor me!

    Not the mentor type but have the same issue with my eating habits.
    I am a big pop drinker so I cut down on that, just having it on weekends and make sure I keep it under 4 per weekend (yes that is good for me lol).
    I just started back at the gym and am mainly focusing on cardio for the first fees weeks. Looking to lose 40 lbs myself.

    I'm not a big pop drinker.I'm stationed overseas and for me it's the German baked goods and chocolate.
