I'm not the religious type but spiritually believe in God, Jesus and Holy Spirit!
Anyone else?

    Almighty Maker of Heaven and Maker of Earth
    And in Jesus Christ His only begotten Son our Lord
    He was conceived by the Holy Spirit
    Born of the virgin Mary
    Suffered under Pontius Pilate
    He was crucified and dead and buried

    And I believe what I believe is what makes me what I am
    I did not make it no it is making me
    It is the very truth of God and not the invention of any man

    I believe that He who suffered was crucified buried and dead
    He descended into hell and on the third day rose again
    He ascended into Heaven where He sits at God's mighty right hand
    I believe that He's returning
    To judge the quick and the dead of the sons of men

    And I believe what I believe is what makes me what I am
    I did not make it no it is making me

    It's so hard to find fellow Christians on mfp. I don't know why that is but I'm so glad you posted this. Can some of you add me as a friend cause I need godly encouragement but not the constant cussing and drinking from some on here. I'm trying to lose a total of 80 lbs and getting my temple back in the healthy shape it was designed by God to be. Thanks so much again for posting this thread. God bless you all.

    God was a huge part of why I first started to make healthier choices last year that led to me to this journey of losing weight. He taught me to see myself as He sees me and love myself even amid the worst time of my life.
