This is my third week of no carbs, although I feel good and no longer have cravings, I have not lost any weight (no even a pound). This year is the start of my fourth of menopause. Could no weight lose have to do with menopause and hormones? Going to Dr. for blood work this week! So I thought maybe counting calories may work.

Counting calories will work, as long as you are accurate with your portions and accurate with the food choices that you use to log. This from a 50+ woman that lost 21 pounds only counting calories, and upping my activities (more walking, taking the stairs, stuff like that).

There are a few groups here in MFP for women over 50 and menopause that might have some tips for you.

I know I have to up my activity in order to lose. Recovering from reverse shoulder replacement surgery and have sciatica. I notice when I go workout for 90 minutes I feel better.
