On Monday my weight was too good to be true. I knew it! I was down 4lbs and that seemed like too much. But I have a rule write down my weight on Monday no matter what it is. Next day up 1lb, following day up 1.5lbs. Now I am spending this week just trying to make last week's number real. Totally sucks.

    This sort of obsessive attention pushed me over the edge. Try taking a more relaxed approach. It's just too unlikely that you dropped 4lbs of fat and have been gaining half a pound or more a day. You dropped a ton of water for some unknown reason and your body is restoring it. In three weeks this will have been a very small blip on the radar. Pay more attention to the big picture and your plan. If you're sticking to it then anything crazy on the scale is a fluctuation you can't control.

    How much did you drink during the weekend? That will dehydrate you if you don't drink enough water.

    I actually think it was because I pounded water on Sunday night. I had had some alcohol and salt on Saturday so I drank a lot of water to try and balance it out. I tipped it the other way.
